A team of four students from Dr. Yongmei Lu’s Geographic Information Science class at Texas State University (TSU), working with the Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance (GEAA), have created a map of sewage leaks within the Edwards Aquifer Region.

The Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a party and steak dinner from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at the White Ranch in Helotes.Hosted by the San Geronimo Valley Alliance, the event includes a silent auction and raffle, locally brewed beer and fine wines.$125 for members; $150 for non-members. Each ticket admits two guests.
