Join us at the Pan American Branch Library on Dec. 22 for anime themed holiday fun! There will be a Japanese music playlist, crafts, coloring, and treats. Feel free to cosplay and/or wear cute holiday accessories. All ages are welcome.

For Adrianna and her service dog, Ms. Peaches, the best part of San Japan 2019 was the SJ Cares team who serve fans with disabilities. “SJ Cares people have really been awesome,” Adrianna said. “They let you know the best place to go to the bathroom with your (service) dog.”

Come celebrate Asian Pacific Heritage Month with a free art exhibit, educational entertainment and refreshments from 7-9 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at 741 W. Ashby Place by the San Pedro Playhouse.There will also be a historical talk and book signing with author Irwin Tang on the history of the Japanese and all Asian Americans in Texas.
