Free Day of Yoga began in Austin, Texas in 1999, and now attracts about 5,000 participants. This year, San Antonio residents don't have to travel to Austin for Free Day of Yoga.  In honor of its tenth anniversary in San Antonio, The Union will open its doors Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 1, with nine complimentary 60- or 90-minute hot yoga sessions for San Antonio’s first Free Day of Yoga.

Our annual Labor Day Tournament will take place on Saturday Sept 1. Shows are at 6 p.m., 7:30 p.m., and 9 p.m. You can watch one, two or all three shows for a total of over four hours of improv glory. The winners of the first matches compete against each other in the final championship match.

Updated for 2018: In observance of the Labor Day holiday on Monday, Sept. 3, City Hall and most municipal offices will be closed. Public safety and emergency services will remain in operation.
