RSM, an audit, tax and consulting company, will be donating 220 gently used laptop computers to local nonprofits in Austin, San Antonio and surrounding areas. The intention of the donations is to help recipients better perform their missions and serve their communities.

Chupachanga, a local artist festival & block party, held on February 8th, will be centered around a second aluminum casting workshop with Jack Gron, open to the community, free of charge. Members of the community are encouraged to participate in the tile castings to gain knowledge of various methods of art, increase awareness of the San Anto Cultural Arts mission and continue to be a lasting part of the organization.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDxSanAntonio is a local, self organized event that brings people together to share a TED-like experience. The third annual TEDxSanAntonio will be held October 13, 2012 at Trinity University's Jane and Arthur Stieren Theatre. This year, TEDxSanAntonio is inviting the nonprofit community to get involved--to speak, attend, sponsor and volunteer. This year's overall theme is "Be Bold."
