Join us to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the McCreless Branch Library! Staff and patrons will have fun with a 60’s jukebox, classic cars, crafts for the whole family, and of course cake. McCreless Branch Library was designed to serve as a resource center for residents throughout the Southeast part of San Antonio and Bexar County. The library building was constructed in 1966 and named for twins G. Sealie and Sollie E. McCreless, who built the McCreless Mall in 1963 and donated the land to build the McCreless Branch Library.
