Each year since 2012, Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas, Inc. (MHM) has awarded funds to NOWCastSA to support projects that democratize local health data.
NOWCastSA has used these funds funds to enrich the local information ecosystem with more than 50 health data and information projects, including live webcasts and video productions, community asset maps, stories and even a student journalism training program.
