Law enforcement from around the nation joined family and friends of San Antonio Police Det. Benjamin Marconi on Nov. 28 to pay their final respects to the slain officer. Marconi was shot and killed Nov. 20 as he wrote a ticket for a motorist close to the police department’s headquarters in downtown.

There wasn't any question that Rev. Alfred Godley could sing. It came to him naturally. Godley was the product of a family of gospel and church music singers who were well known in San Antonio and Texas. Godley was a member of the Shields of Faith gospel group for 24 years and a member of Quartet Association Local 62-2. He was also the assistant minister at St. Joseph's Baptist Church on San Antonio's East Side.

REPLAY VIDEO: People from all walks gathered in person and online to pay their respects to Steve Graham Saldaña, a man who touched thousands of lives through his passion to help the poor. Saldaña was President/CEO of Catholic Charities, Archdiocese of San Antonio, Inc, where he helped build one of the largest social service systems in the United States. He was also on the board of directors of Seton Home, St. Peter-St. Joseph Children's Home and Bexar County Detention Ministries. Saldaña, 62, died of lymphoma July 5.
