The Center City Development & Operations Department (CCDO) is now accepting proposals for the OPEN Downtown Pop Up Shop at 531 Navarro. The selected vendor will receive a 90-day, no-cost lease beginning Nov. 15 through Feb. 15 in the Houston Street Garage storefront. Proposals should be no longer than six pages and be submitted by the Thursday, Oct. 15 deadline. A complete list of program requirements can be found at opensanantonio.com.

Twenty-one new shops are popping up downtown along a stretch of Houston and Travis streets just in time for the holiday shopping season. The downtown pop up shops are part of the OPEN program, and available to the public from noon-9 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays from Dec. 2-30.

Bexar County Judge Nelson W. Wolff joined San Antonio River Authority (SARA) General Manager Suzanne Scott and SARA staff earlier today to review the newly reopened sections of the Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration and Recreation Project that were closed following the rain event from this past Memorial Day weekend.
