Closures and shelter-in-place orders brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic mean even more stress, especially for many middle- and low-income families and individuals, and people suffering in abusive situations.
There is support and help for people struggling with mental and emotional health issues, and those without adequate shelter who need assistance in this overwhelmingly difficult time.

There will be more than San Antonian taquerias, musicians and filmmakers demonstrating their talent at this year’s South by Southwest (SXSW) festival.
Several local representatives from the high technology, culinary arts and educational sectors will gather in Austin to discuss how San Antonio has now become known more than a tourist town. The annual convergence of interactive technology, music and cinema begins March 10.

The P2P 5K weaves along one of the most beautiful spots in San Antonio--the Riverwalk Museum Reach, which coincidently is right across the street from the Providence Catholic School campus at the corner of Brooklyn and St. Mary’s Street.

SAN ANTONIO (Oct. 25, 2011) – The San Antonio Area Foundation announces today it will move into a new home at Pearl in the summer of 2012. The added space and more accessible location make it possible for the Area Foundation to expand existing programs and initiatives to better serve San Antonio and South Texas. In 2010, the Area Foundation gave a total of $12.2 million in grants and scholarships.
