This year’s theme “New Age of Preservation: Embark, Inspire, Engage.” challenges communities to take an active role in preservation. “Preserving our older buildings and neighborhoods provides a sense of belonging and pride. Preservation is about understanding that historic buildings are limited resources and we need to be engaged, as San Antonians, to preserve those that tell the story of our diverse culture,” said Shanon Miller, Director of OHP.
