San Antonio prides itself on holiday lights. Some people don’t even take their Christmas lights down after the new year. They just flick a switch when the next Christmas rolls around to celebrate another season of holiday cheer.

Providence Catholic School is excited to host the San Antonio Camaro Club’s 3rd annual car, truck and motorcycle show 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on November 10, 2012. The event will take place on the school campus located at 1215 North St. Mary’s Street at the corner of Brooklyn and St. Mary’s, across the street from the River Walk. There is NO CHARGE for admission and spectators are welcome to come see the hot rods, show cars, motorcycles and trucks on display. There will be vendors, contests, a raffle, food and drinks.

As part of Armed Forces Day the City of San Antonio will for the first time host a Military River Parade. Twenty five professionally decorated floats will travel down the River Walk with themes such as branches of service, veterans of recent conflicts, military supports groups and more.

They're definitely bright. And there are a lot more of them.A week before the city gets its first complete look at the new LED lights adorning trees along the San Antonio River Walk, members of the media were given a sneak peek of the new lights as a few trees were turned on for a quick river tour.
