Palo Alto College along with San Antonio Food Bank are hosting a pop-up market, providing food to students, employees, and the surrounding community. The event is April 22 from 3 p.m to 5 p.m at Palo Alto College's parking lot 4. Those who wish to participate must register in advance. This event will be a drive-through, no-contact event. The collection drive allows anyone who is interested to donate new and used clothing, canned foods, baby formula, diapers, personal hygiene products, bathing towels, bedding sheets, car seats, and new pairs of socks and underwear for all children, women and men.

By Lorraine Pulido VIA and the San Antonio Food Bank are partnering to help make sure homebound residents don’t go hungry during these challenging times. On March 31, VIA operators began delivering meals and supplies prepared by Food Bank staff and volunteers to homes and distribution points throughout San Antonio. Deliveries will take place Monday through Friday. Since VIA joined the Food Bank’s mission to “fight hunger and feed hope,” operators have distributed more than 650 food packages to nearly 500 locations throughout the city.

The “Ancira Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram 2017 Live Music Series at The County Line” that benefits the San Antonio Food Bank is back—for its 17th year— on Thursday nights.  This popular live music series runs through August 28 at The County Line Bar-B-Q restaurant at 10101 IH-10 West (between the Wurzbach and Huebner Road exits, near the Colonnade).
