For the first time since the San Antonio Public Library’s  Young Pegasus Poetry Competition began in 1927, NOWCastSA webcast the event live on Sunday, May 6 at 2 p.m. from the Guadalupe Theater. Thanks to support from the San Antonio Public Library and the San Antonio Public Library Foundation, anyone can watch live or replay it for free right here on this page.

Saturday, April 11th, 2015 is set to be “one for the books” as the Library Foundation presents its third annual San Antonio Book Festival. This all-day, free event is held downtown at the Central Library, Southwest School of Art and the Empire Theater, where book lovers of all ages and interests have a chance to get up close to their favorite authors at engaging readings, panel discussions, sales and signings. There are topics for everyone, from politics and fiction to poetry and cookbooks.

REPLAY NOW: The San Antonio Public Library will present a draft of its new Strategic Plan to the community during a series of public forums scheduled to obtain public input on the plan. NOWCastSA will webcast one of these forums live on Friday, July 22 from noon to 1 p.m. from the main auditorium of Central Library, located at 600 Soledad St.
