American Indians in Texas (AIT) was founded 20 years ago in San Antonio to preserve and protect the culture and traditions of indigenous people. In the span of two decades, AIT has sponsored or participated in several dozen Pow Wows in Texas. United San Antonio Pow Wow is a non-profit charted organization whose purpose is to promote the traditions and culture of the American Indian and enlighten the non-Indian about the history and culture of the Native Americans.
