San Antonio Water System’s (SAWS) project to clean downtown sewer infrastructure around Commerce and Alamo streets will begin at midnight, Feb. 1. Phase 1: Feb. 1 – Feb. 5* The Downtown Project’s Phase I will begin on Feb. 1 at midnight. Feb. 1: Two lanes on Commerce St. and one bus lane on Alamo St. will remain closed from midnight until Feb. 5. Feb. 1: Set up equipment to by-pass existing sewer lines. This includes piping and traffic ramps on Alamo.
