On the morning of April 7, 1994, Rwanda native Alex-Marie Secondaire was leaving Mass and headed toward his parents’ home, when he saw a barricade had been set up along a road and hundreds of people were being stopped by government soldiers and police.

A lecture by Rose Williams, a Holocaust survivor and San Antonio resident, concluded the San Antonio Public Library's month-long photo exhibit, Holocaust: Learn and Remember.
