The Tier One Neighborhood Coalition is hosting a Neighbors Helping Neighbors Forum on Saturday, July 16 at Laurel Heights United Methodist Church, 227 W Woodlawn Ave, San Antonio, TX 78212. The meeting will be located at the gym on the second floor and is open to the public.

U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-San Antonio) visited the campus of the University of Texas at San Antonio to talk to students about the importance of relations between the United States and Japan.
Castro, founding co-chair of the House U.S.-Japan Caucus and member of the House Foreign Affairs and Armed Services Committees, talked about Japan not only as an economic superpower, but also as a valuable trade partner. The March 31 event was sponsored by the UTSA East Asia Institute.
