The Rotary Ice Rink, presented by Valero, will return on Nov. 18, 2022 until Jan. 16, 2023 at Travis Park in downtown San Antonio.

On June 4 2022, the #StandWithUvalde event at Travis Park hosted by Voto Latino gathered San Antonio leaders, community members, and speakers in a peaceful demonstration to “turn anger into advocacy”.
Speakers included U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-San Antonio), former San Antonio Mayor Julián Castro, Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O'Rourke, Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich, and others.

San Antonians gathered on March 12, 2022, at Travis Park for the 32nd SA International Women’s Day March.
After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the SA Women’s March came back with vigor.
This years march was followed by a Peace Vigil organized by the AAPI for Justice in San Antonio.

San Antonio prides itself on holiday lights. Some people don’t even take their Christmas lights down after the new year. They just flick a switch when the next Christmas rolls around to celebrate another season of holiday cheer.

Join us as we march in the streets in solidarity with women and social justice movements in San Antonio and around the world.The 2011 San Antonio International Women’s Day March and Rally will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 5. It starts at Travis Park and ends end in the historic Plaza del Zacate (Milam Park) with a rally featuring several speakers and performers, including poet Tammy Gomez, Houston hip-hop artist Kiawitl Xochitl, Green Party vice-presidential candidate Rosa Clemente, and others.
