Metro Health is working with community agencies to host COVID-19 “pop-up” vaccine clinics using health and equity data to coordinate events. No registration is needed. Other partner agency pop-up events are NOT eligible.

The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District (Metro Health) recently partnered with Hallmark University to film a series of new TV spots for their "What Will It Take?" vaccination campaign. The new campaign encourages San Antonio residents to receive the COVID-19 vaccine to protect themselves, their loved ones, and others in San Antonio. The city’s TVSA production team recorded Hallmark University students' personal stories, experiences, and inspirations to connect with those still unvaccinated against the coronavirus.

July 10th has been designated by Mayor Ron Nirenberg as SA Vaccine Day, and the City of San Antonio and Spurs Sports & Entertainment (SS&E) will host a COVID-19 vaccine event as part of a partnership to encourage residents to get vaccinated. During the event, each person who gets vaccinated will be entered to win a Spurs season package – which includes two tickets to 10 games. The winner will be announced during a Facebook Live event on the Metro Health page at 1 p.m. and will be contacted by SS&E to redeem.
