Join us for our 7th Annual Awareness Walk on October 28th, 2017. This is our San Antonio chapter's premier fundraiser that allows us to continue our mission of Support, Awareness, Advocacy. Registration opens at 9:00 am, the walk will begin at 10:00 am. Immediately following the walk there will breakfast tacos for all our attendees and sponsors! Although online registration will be open through the day of the walk, and walk-up registrations will be available, please register before October 14th to guarantee yourself a Walk Shirt, Food, and a Thank You Gift. Tickets- $15-$25

Come join the ALS Association Saturday, June 30 at 10 a.m. to walk for a great cause! Cost is $20 for just a shirt or $30 for shirt + WOD. We will have a WOD for everyone! Everyone is welcome, including kids 5 and up! Learn more about ALS here: http://www.alsa.org. All proceeds will go to ALS research.

Ever think of the Irish history in San Antonio? Our second guided fun run will cover history about the Irish communities and Irish heritage here in SA! These guided runs are a great way to experience San Antonio’s historic sites and get fit. At various stops along the route, tour guides will share the stories behind the buildings, homes, neighborhoods, and parks that make San Antonio unique. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome. Participants will be divided into small groups according to experience.

The Texas Trail Roundup is hosting its first annual three-day international walk fest Friday through Sunday, February 24-26, 2017. All of the walks are non-competitive and are suitable for people of all ages and abilities.

District 7 Neighbors Who Walk will be joining the Mayors Walking Club at Woodlawn Lake on Feb 13 at 8:00 a.m. Event organizers promise there will be free T-shirts and other fun, along with a healthy walk with neighbors.

The 3rd Annual Walk+Run for Rex will be held in memory of Rex Neal Van de Putte, who was born on November 16, 2012 and died of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) on May 7, 2013 at the age of 5 months. This race benefits the Southwest SIDS Research Institute. Runners receive a Technical Race Shirt, bib, pins, and timing chip. The 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk supports survivors of sexual violence, as well as their friends and families, through comprehensive service and by increasing community education and awareness by donating the proceeds of the race to The Rape Crisis Center. Run 4 Hope wants you to be a hero for The Rape Crisis Center and register. Costumes are encouraged! Free Kids' Superhero Dash before the Run/Walk. Awards will be handed out after the race. Stick around for the Post-Race Party with family friendly carnival games, and make your own cape booth!

The B.I.S.H. Foundation (Believers Inspiring Survivors For Hope) will be having its 3rd Annual Santa Antonio 5K Walk/Run on Sunday, Dec. 1 at Sunset Station. Every participant receives a Complete Santa Suit to wear at the event. All the proceeds from the event will be donated to MD Anderson for Cancer Research.
