What if you could protect the planet without leaving your front yard?  The Solid Waste Management Department will roll out a new program in October to do just that.

The following tips were given to me by Andrea Nocito, whom I call the 'Goddess of Green.' In 2011, Nocito was named a Forty under Forty Rising Star by the “San Antonio Business Journal.” She currently works as manager for the Energy Savings Solutions program at UTSA.
