Applications are now being accepted for paid summer internships with local nonprofit arts organizations with funding from Bexar County. Through the Arts Internship Program, Bexar County provides $3,500 to ten local nonprofit arts organizations to fund an internship at each organization to assist with a seasonal program or special project. The internships will begin on June 6 and end on Aug. 12.

The Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) will host its second annual Beethoven 5K/10K Walk and Run on Saturday, April 13.  The fundraising event for the city’s premier youth orchestras includes live music at the finish line by the Pop-Up Orchestra and an appearance by Beethoven himself!

The Youth Orchestra of San Antonio (YOSA) will host a night of food, drinks, music and a silent auction. Molly Cox will be the Master of Ceremonies and the Orchestra will be directed by Troy Peters.

Youth Orchestras of San Antonio (YOSA) performed at Luminaria 2012. This video was taken at the main stage in front of the Institute of Texan Cultures, at Hemisphere Park. The orchestra performing is Youth Orchestra 210.
