UPDATE Sept. 7, 2016: The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District reports a new confirmed Zika case. The total count of confirmed Zika cases in San Antonio is 10. All cases acquired the infection while traveling abroad. UPDATE August 2, 2016: Local Zika virus transmission has been identified in southern Florida, according to the CDC.
