Chosen is pleased to announce that Dennis Noll has joined the nonprofit organization’s Board of Directors as the Chair of the Development Committee.
“I am thrilled to become a member of the Chosen Board of Directors,” Noll said. “I joined the board because I believe the trauma suffered by children in the foster care system must be addressed. As an adoptive parent, I believe Chosen’s mission to do whatever it takes to help foster families minister to their foster/adopted children is both unique and a critical element in helping our communities’ most wounded children heal.”
Noll retired as CEO of the San Antonio Area Foundation in December 2017. Under his leadership, the foundation more than tripled in size, from managing $250 million in assets in 2014 to $900 million in assets in 2017, according to a press release on the foundation's website.
Jenni Lord, Chosen chief executive officer, said she believes Noll can help have a tremendous impact with Chosen’s mission of helping children heal from trauma and strengthening families.
“He brings a reservoir of knowledge and experience to Chosen,” Lord said. “His contribution will help elevate every aspect of our organization, ultimately benefitting the vulnerable children and families we serve. We are delighted to have Dennis on our team.”
