Burial Ground: Exploring African American Resting Places Virtual Discussion

Join the San Antonio African American Community Archive and Museum (SAAACAM) on Oct. 24, 2020 for a discussion about how African American cemeteries help us uncover buried histories.

Landscape Architect and SAAACAM co-founder Everett Fly, the City of San Antonio Archaeologist, Shawn Marceaux, and Bexar County Spanish Archives Archivist David C. Carlson, Ph.D., will discuss the significance of digging up the past.

Burial Grounds: Exploring African American Resting Places will be moderated by the UTSA Center for Archaeological Research Project Archaeologist, Clinton McKenzie.
