ComedySportz is San Antonio’s only all-ages improvisational theater and school of improv. Brought to San Antonio in 1993, the theater is celebrating its 20th anniversary with a fundraiser for Transplants for Children. Our all-star bash is bringing many fan favorite players from our past to entertain.
Transplants For Children is a worthy cause founded by ComedySportz star, Sharon Sutton, to raise awareness and funds for child organ donors and the many precious lives that are awaiting transplants of vital organs in Texas and abroad. All donations and a portion of the proceeds from the show will go to help this nonprofit organization sustain and expand its mission.
ComedySportz was founded in 1984 in Milwaukee, Wis. It presents short-form improvisational theater as a sport with two teams and a referee. Currently, ComedySportz theaters can be found in 24 cities throughout the world.
