S.A. Missions: Community Quest for World Heritage Status exhibit

This year’s Preservation Month theme “New Age of Preservation: Embark, Inspire, Engage” challenges communities to take an active role in preservation.

“Preserving our older buildings and neighborhoods provides a sense of belonging and pride,” said Shanon Miller, Director of OHP. "Preservation is about understanding that historic buildings are limited resources and we need to be engaged, as San Antonians, to preserve those that tell the story of our diverse culture"

From May 1 through July 5, San Antonio Missions: Community Quest for World Heritage Status, an exhibit of San Antonio historical artifacts and photos will be hosted at Central Library, 600 Soledad St., 78205 and Mission Branch Library, 3134 Roosevelt Ave., 78214.
