The San Antonio Mini Maker Faire is a family-friendly showcase of DIY invention, creativity, and resourcefulness. Makers (individuals and groups) are invited to present their DIY projects, to show their work and share their expertise with the rest of San Antonio.
The Faire gathers together tech enthusiasts, crafters, hobbyists, artists, tinkerers, food artisans, engineers, science clubs, students, educators and commercial exhibitors.

At the 2016 Mini Maker Faire at San Antonio’s Central Library, you helped us make a movie about why San Antonio is a great place to live and how it could be improved for the future.
We asked you what you love about San Antonio and you came through in a big way. Several of you said the best thing about our city is the people. Then we asked you how San Antonio could be even better, and you had some great suggestions, from better public transportation to cooler summers.
Check out the video and please share it with your friends. Then scroll down to see a Storify of the social media from the Maker Faire.
