San Antonio River documentary screening

SARA has announced additional free screenings of the San Antonio River documentary throughout Bexar, Wilson, and Goliad counties. The next screening will be at the Pearl Ampitheatre on May 31.

Fox 29 and CW 35 are sponsoring free screenings of the San Antonio River Documentary at 8:00 p.m. on May 31. at the Pearl Ampitheatre located on 100 E. Grayson St.

In August 2012 The San Antonio River Authority (SARA) started to develop "Sustaining and Enriching Life in South Texas: The Story of the San Antonio River," a documentary produced by Thompson Marketing and Ten-Eighty Productions. 

The documentary consists of interviews from archeologists, scientists, engineers, historians, business and community leaders. In addition the documentary also contains unique visual perspectives of the river unlike any seen before. Director Adam Stielstra includes interviews with former San Antonio Mayor Lila Cockrell, Bexar County judge Nelson Wolff, San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro, and many more.
