Los Patios is celebrating Sober Oktoberfest on October 15 in the spirit of Bavarian gemütlichkeit. This family-friendly event encourages people in recovery from drug and alcohol addictions to join in a community with others wishing to normalize sober fun. The Los Patios Foundation, Blue Heron Recovery, and other community sponsors are welcoming families to the event, which is free and open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. A live mix of German and Czech music will be provided by San Antonio Combo Band. Family-friendly activities include lawn games, bounce houses, and more. Traditional schnitzel, bratwursts, Swiss fondue, barbeque and mocktails will be available for purchase.
