It’s time to get out your running shoes and start training! The Sixth Annual Providence to Pearl 5K Walk/Run is set for April 20, 2013. The route weaves along one of the most beautiful spots in San Antonio--the Riverwalk Museum Extension--which coincidently is right across the street from Providence Catholic School.
"We hope to have a record number of runners this year," said Elise Denoux, Providence Athletic Director. "There will be a competitive run, and a noncompetitive Run/Walk, so every level of runner can have a great experience. We encourage San Antonio runners, of any and all levels, to join the Providence community at this year’s event."
The finish line at Pearl will offer entertainment and the Pearl Saturday Farmers Market for your after race enjoyment. Proceeds will benefit Providence Catholic School which this year is celebrating 62 years of educating young women in San Antonio.
