Dr. Kristi Clark, an internal medicine physician, who served as senior medical director for HealthTexas Medical Group, has been promoted to president and chief executive officer effective Jan. 28, 2019. She succeeds Dr. Richard Reyna, who has retired after founding and managing the company as CEO since 1994.

The Baptist Health Foundation has awarded Chosen a $75,000 grant to fund mentoring and parent education for kinship families. Chosen is a nonprofit that helps children heal from trauma and strengthens foster, kinship and adoptive families through mentoring, parent education and therapeutic services.
