Solar Fest

Solar San Antonio will hold Solar Fest from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 1 at Maverick Park, 1000 Broadway (at 10th Street), San Antonio.

Free and open to the public, the festival will inform the community about solar energy in a fun and interactive way. According to the organizers, "Solar Fest provides valuable information to the public about renewable energy technologies, the impact of sustainable living and green building techniques."

Check out the iPhone app developed for Solar Fest. Features a festival map, hyperlinked exhibitor listing, solar pricing sheet, band and speaker information and more.

Registration for the Run on the Sun 5K begins at 7:30 a.m.
