Lightscape display at the San Antonio Botanical Gardens

Lightscape as described on the Botanical Garden website is a “magical lights display set along a beautifully illuminated one-mile path winding through the Botanical Garden.” Watch this short video to get a glimpse of the display:

Check online here for ticket availability and pricing. Guests can either pay $15 for VIP parking before the trip to the Botanical Gardens or opt for free parking and a free bus shuttle service provided at the University of Incarnate Word Founder’s Hall parking garage.

The mile long promenade has various unique art installations, each paired with a holiday song! Lightscape has also set up food, drink and snack stations throughout. Some items they offer are s'mores, tacos, beer, wine and hot chocolate.

Each light display is unique and features physical art creations, funky use of everyday lights, as well as light projection being used to make a water scene ethereal.

Texans feel their boots wanting to scoot as George Straight’s song When It’s Christmas Time in Texas plays over a field of twinkling bluebonnets.

Lightscape will be at the Botanical Gardens until Jan. 2, 2022.
