"New" Enchilada-Red Central Library Celebrates 25th Anniversary

On Saturday, May 20, 1995, the whole community celebrated as the San Antonio Public Library (SAPL) held the grand opening of the "Big Enchilada," the Central Library.

Although some may still think of it as the "new" library, Wednesday, May 20, 2020, is the Central Library's 25th anniversary. Because large public gatherings are not possible at this time, the library is planning a virtual anniversary event.  You're invited to join in on Facebook for a variety of online activities beginning May 20 and running through a full day of scheduled events on Saturday, May 23.
