New Website Lets Residents Comment on San Antonio Bicycle Plan

San Antonio launched an interactive website for an exciting new Bicycle Implementation Plan for Downtown and Midtown, as well as the development of a Micromobility Policy for the entire city. Citizen input will help expand upon the City's original Bike Plan, first conceived in 2011.

The purpose of the interactive website is:

  • Obtain the community's thoughts and feedback on certain areas to help provide safe mobility for all users
  • Guide future decisions on how to best to incorporate micromobility, including bicycles, scooters and pedestrian traffic

Users can provide input in developing a Micromobility Policy for San Antonio while incorporating a Bike Implementation Plan for the Downtown and Midtown Regional Centers. The City is starting with these two areas, since they have the greatest number of bicycle and mobility users. To interact with the website, click here.

In addition to the interactive website, the City of San Antonio is also launching an online survey to receive feedback from the community to help guide the development of the micromobility policy to enhance the quality of life for residents. To view the survey, click here.

The community's participation is critical to help move these projects forward. The City of San Antonio hopes both the interactive website and the survey provide easy ways for citizens to help create a "Complete Street" that is safe and usable for all modes of micromobility transportation.
