Project MEND provides individuals living with life-altering disabilities and illnesses with medical equipment and assistive technology that they may not otherwise be able to afford or who are faced with gaps in their insurance coverage.
To serve more clients, the non-profit held a virtual groundbreaking for new 18,000 square foot facility on Thursday, Aug. 27.

The new headquarters will give Project MEND the ability to repair and store a larger inventory of medical and assistive technology, and when complete in late summer of 2021, will become the largest medical reuse facility in Texas.
Designed by Overland Partners, Project MEND's new HQ will serve thousands of clients with mobility and medical equipment.
Donated medical equipment and assistive technology are repaired and reused by clients.
