Attorney Justin Hill of Hill Law Firm has had a love affair with San Antonio since moving here in 2007 and he has decided to spotlight the movers-and-shakers, charities, events and locales around the city in his recently launched podcast, “The Alamo Hour.”

“The Alamo Hour is about the backstories and personalities behind all the great things and people we love in San Antonio,” Hill said. “I want to share the great stories and personalities that I have encountered in my time here with everyone who lives here.”

In the latest release of “The Alamo Hour,” Hill interviews Mayor Ron Nirenberg about how he is leading the city through the COVID-19 pandemic. The mayor also discusses the current state of the Alamo City, what he loves about San Antonio and even talks about a short affair with electronica music. You can listen to the interview here.

In addition to Mayor Ron Nirenberg, some of Hill’s previous guests include authors, business owners, public health experts, TV producers, and restaurateurs, to name a few. “Our guests have accounted for authoring over 20 books, have multiple Ph.Ds and are leaders of non-profits, who all have great stories to share,” he said.

As for his wish list of future guests, Hill is hoping to snag interviews with Shea Serrano, Jackie Earle Haley, Patty Mills, “and the ultimate wish would be Coach Pop,” he said.

The Burkburnett native, who is a personal injury attorney, is also a keeper of chickens and bees at his home in the heart of San Antonio whom he shares with his wife and loyal sidekick, Winston, and some peacocks, too.

“Outside of my work as a personal injury lawyer, I’ve cultivated some gardening and beekeeping skills that keep me busy and inspired,” he said.
