Tamale secrets unhusked by Carmen Tafolla and Ellen Riojas Clark


Poet Laureate Carmen Tafolla and UTSA professor emerita Ellen Riojas Clark came together at the San Antonio Public Library's Latino Resource Center to talk about the book they co-authored, Tamales, Comadres and the Meaning of Civilization.

They talked about the tamale history, secrets, recipes and importance of families coming together for tamaladas.
