Port San Antonio hosted Fiesta de los Niños on April 24, an official Fiesta event that is held annually and includes a day full of fun, including rides, free performances, food and craft vendors with the youngest San Antonians in mind.

At the 2010 event, performances included Ballet Folklórico del Cielo, the Chinese Lion Dance Association and Vizcaino Entertainment, among many others.

Making the event extra special, the Fiesta de los Niños 2010 commemorative medal, which was designed by Athens Elementary fourth-grader Juliette Ponce, won top city-wide honors as the best Fiesta medal in San Antonio according to judges at the annual "Pin Pandemonium" contest held by the Fiesta Commission.

The Port wishes to thank all of its supporters, volunteers and the community for making the 2010 Fiesta de los Niños a resounding success, with an estimated attendance of 6,000 people. We look forward to seeing you again in April 2011!
